Conference report: Burchard of Worms. A bishop and his world (1000–1025)

In memory of the 1000th anniversary of Bishop Burchard's death, the directors of the academy project invited participants to a conference in Worms from October 16 to 18, 2025. The program focused on current research questions relating to Bishop Burchard, his work, and his writings. Particular attention was paid to Burchard's decree, the progress made in its analysis, and the history of its creation and impact.
