Text Mining Workshop (tf-idf) at UCL London

We are delighted to share that HDSM, TU Darmstadt and UCL, Centre for Digital Humanities are collaborating on a text mining workshop. Registration is required for attendance.
As part of the Mixed Methods Digital Oral History Workshop Dr. Marco Humbel and Dr. Jiajie Zhang facilitate a free workshop on tf-idf (term frequency – inversed document frequency) for text mining at UCL London.
Tf-idf is an information retrieval method to extract distinctive keywords from documents. In this interactive workshop they will explore the possibilities and limitations of the technique.
