Our booth is located in the building Karo 5 (Karolinenplatz 5, 64289 Darmstadt). If you come in through the main entrance, you have to go through to the back.

Our booth is designed to show you how we can make history together.

Whether you have questions about the study of history, the requirements or the career prospects, come by! Students and advisors of the Institute of History will be there to answer your questions. We are looking forward to meeting you. ?? There are sources to discover, coolies and stickers.

No! That's exactly what hobit contact and our information stand are there for. We pick you up where you are at the moment. In a conversation, our history students and study advisors can find out together with you whether studying history is a good fit for you and your strengths and interests. We support you in finding a good decision or ideas.

You have completed the first step: You're reading this or toying with the idea of studying history or are just curious that it exists at a technical university?

We would be happy if you are interested and visit us at the booth. You can find more tips on the hobit contact website.

TUDay

The centrally organized TUDay is the optimal opportunity to get to know the Institute of History in person. Here you can go directly to our TUDay offer, which was hosted digitally for the first time on June 10, 2020.

TUDay was held digitally during the pandemic and will be revived in 2024. Parts of the digital offering are still online and offer you a first point of contact to get to know the subject of history at the TU Darmstadt better.

TUday provides information about the Technical University as a place to study. As an open day for prospective students, it provides insight into all of the university's degree programs, which are presented at the respective department or institute: Through special lectures, guided tours, typical courses and conversations with university lecturers, academic staff and students, you can get a taste of everyday university life.

In this way, you can get an independent and realistic picture of the courses offered, the study conditions and everyday student life.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Volker Köhler.
