At the (‘University and Career Information Days’), universities, colleges and commercial enterprises in Darmstadt provide information twice a year about study and training opportunities in Darmstadt and the surrounding area. There are exciting lectures and guided tours on topics relevant to studying or training. Direct dialogue with students, lecturers and academic staff is particularly helpful. The centrally organized TUDay is the optimal opportunity to get to know the Institute of History in person. Here you can go directly to our TUDay offer, which was hosted digitally for the first time on June 10, 2020.
TUDay took place digitally during the pandemic and has been back in person since 2024. and offer you a first point of contact to get to know the subject of history at TU Darmstadt better. Parts of the digital offer are still online
TUday provides information about the Technical University as a place to study. As an open day for prospective students, it provides insight into all of the university's degree programs, which are presented at the respective department or institute: Through special lectures, guided tours, typical courses and conversations with university lecturers, academic staff and students, you can get a taste of everyday university life.
In this way, you can get an independent and realistic picture of the courses offered, the study conditions and everyday student life.
