TU Darmstadt offers two-stage Bachelor's/Master's degrees for those wishing to teach at vocational schools.

The Bachelor's course teaches knowledge in a relevant vocational subject area OTHER THAN HISTORY as well as pedagogical and practical skills.

The postgraduate course “Master of Education” has to be chosen subsequently. One of two subjects may be history.
